Ethiopian Rift Valley Safaris

![]() An Oasis of Peace & Calm in the Wilderness of Ethiopia's Deep Southwest
Operating year-round, the Lodge can accomodate 16 guests. There are 8 bungalows, each having a private bathroom and shower, and screens on all windows. A garden of delicious fruit and vegetable varieties serve the kitchen and there is always freshly baked bread. Meals usually have an Italian flavour and there is an assortment of cold drinks. Friendly staff will see to it that laundry is done daily and your room made tidy.
Overlooking the Omo River from the shady verandah will entice you to become lost in the music of a hundred birds in the towering tree canopy, or in the echoing calls of fish eagles and colobus monkeys, or be amused to observe the antics of a troop of frolicking baboons on the opposite bank. Using the Lodge as a convenient base, day trips are taken to visit villages & markets. Special arrangements in open safari vehicles are made for wildlife viewing & birding. Some guests may enjoy nature walks on the mountains & plains led by our experienced trackers, while others prefer fishing for a wide variety of species from the bank of the Omo River right at the Lodge.
While in Ethiopia's stunning Omo Valley and at Murulle Omo Explorer's Lodge, we invite our special guests to drink in the beauty of 'Real Africa' and to enjoy a precious opportunity for interaction in the lives of remote & cordial people groups who remain contentedly close to nature.
